Zach's an ACE on the Courts!

Well, the tennis season has now come to a close. Zach did awesome! Even though he doesn't really like it when we come to watch him play (we totally mess up his game), I sneaked a few pictures of him in action.

Zach will be participating in USTA this summer. Now that he'll be starting high school, he'll be on the JV team and will play in the fAll instead of the spring. Hopefully, with all the practice he gets this summer with USTA, he'll really be on top of his game, come September.

And, sorry to say, I WILL be at every game next year. I love watching him play. After all, I taught him everything he knows (wink).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNDSEY!

HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY, LYNDSEY!

WOW! Is our baby girl really 11 years old today?
Wasn't it only yesterday that she was a pudgy little sleeping, pooping, crying, screaming and pooping (did I already say that?), sweet, bouncing 7.5 ounce bundle of joy?

Now she's a skinny little wide-awake, laughing, gabbing, gabbing, gabbing, and always energetic young lady! And she's still every ounce as sweet and even more of a joy.

The above picture was taken this morning, about 2 hours after she officially turned 11 (6.09 A.M.) She is getting ready to light the candle on her cream-filled birthday donut.

I dragged her out of school, kicking and screaming, to McDonalds for a birthday lunch this afternoon (yeah, right!)

Tonight we'll be celebrating by going out for dinner (not sure where yet)

On Saturday, she celebrated with three of her best friends: Jordan, Alexis, and Tara.

The party started with piggy bank painting

Here are all of the lovely piggies...hand painted in each of the girls' fun & unique style

Then it was cake and ice cream time...yum!

And the best part...PRESENTS! Here's the loot she received. From Tara: Target gift card & a chocolate bar. From Alexis: Hobby Lobby gift card and a handmade necklace. From Jordan: a black & white cat Webkinz. THANKS, LADIES!

The girls had a sleepover and ended up having a wonderful time (DUH!)

Lyndsey, I just want to say, God blessed our socks off when He gave us you. From your beautiful smile to your sweet spirit to your loving and giving nature, to your silly sense of humor to your enormous amount of energy...WE COULDN'T LOVE YOU MORE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEETIE!
