We signed her up for Matchpoint this spring and she was placed on a great team with a wonderful coach and some awesome girls. It was a great opportunity to not only learn some skills but make some fabulous friends. She had practice twice per week and played in four separate tournaments, held on Saturdays. Her team ended up doing very well and we loved watching and cheering (sometimes too loudly, we were told by Lynz).
The highlight of the season was when Lynz was serving and took the team from 1 point to 20 to win the game all by herself! The coach was so impressed that she gave Lynz $1 because no one had ever done that before. Of course, Lynz being Lynz, she tried to decline the money but her coach insisted. LoL.
What a proud moment for her and for us!
Lyndsey is practicing hard this summer and is planning on going out for volleyball in Junior High. We know she'll do great!
